As a Licensing Engineer for Key Patent Innovations, Stephen provides technical expertise in support of portfolio licensing and monetization efforts. In this role, he uses his significant research experience to support various aspects of licensing campaigns, such as infringement analysis and developing evidence of use charts.
Prior to joining Key Patent Innovations, Stephen worked as a researcher in the Bradley Photonics Group in Trinity College Dublin where he completed his PhD in Physics. His research spanned the field of nanoscience and involved work in the areas of thin film fabrication, lithography, nanophotonics, plasmonics and optics with significant experience in nanodevice design, simulation, fabrication and characterisation. In addition to his PhD, Stephen also holds a post graduate certification in Statistics and Data Science and a First-class honours degree in Physics.
