Lin Bo

Lin is a European, UK, and Irish Patent Attorney with extensive experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the fields of software, wireless communications, and sensing technologies. Her practice extends to opposition matters before the European Patent Office as well as infringement analysis and opinion. Lin also has considerable experience in design matters.

Lin is a certified European Patent Litigator which allows her representation rights before the Unified Patent Court (UPC).

Before joining the patent profession, Lin obtained her PhD in the field of optical fibre sensors and published over 20 articles in scientific journals. After finishing her PhD, Lin trained for over three years at Tomkins IP. She then moved to Hanna Moore + Curley in 2019 which was subsequently acquired by Murgitroyd & Company in 2021. Lin is passionate about work relating to enforcing patent rights which led to her joining Key Patent Innovations in October 2023.

Lin is currently a substitute member of the Professional Education Committee (PEC) of the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (epi).
