Diego Lugones

As Licensing Executive for Key Patent Innovations, Diego leverages his technical expertise to support portfolio licensing and monetization efforts. He provides engineering insights for various licensing campaigns, including conducting infringement analyses, investigations, and evidence discovery, as well as portfolio valuation.
 

Diego also serves as a professor in the MSc program on Cloud Computing at the National College of Ireland. Prior to joining Key Patent Innovations, he successfully managed multiple research programs focusing on network automation utilizing machine learning and cloud technologies. As part of his work on technology research, Diego produced research articles and was named inventor on multiple patents while managing a distributed team of computer scientist and software developers. Diego has worked in top technology companies and is an experienced technologist with expertise in distributed systems and software platforms.

 

Diego completed his PhD in Computer Science at the University Autonoma of Barcelona, UAB, where he also served as associated professor. He was awarded a post-doctoral fellowship from the Dublin City University, DCU. His research contributions range from high-performance computing to datacenter networking and cloud computing.
