Chris Quigley

As Patent Counsel for Key Patent Innovations, Chris provides support in the company’s licensing and monetization efforts. Chris also manages an extensive patent portfolio across multiple jurisdictions. Prior to joining Key Patent Innovations, Chris worked in private practice representing local and large multinational technology and medical device clients. During this time, Chris's work primarily entailed the preparation and prosecution of European patents within the semiconductor, telecommunications, and medical devices sectors. Chris also handled opposition matters before the European Patent Office. Prior to this, Chris worked as a senior patent analyst. This work entailed reviewing patent portfolios, drafting claim charts and infringement analysis reports. 

 

Chris is not only a registered European Patent Attorney but also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property. In addition, Chris is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and a Member of the Institution of Engineers of Ireland (MIEI). 

 

Prior to entering the patent profession, Chris gained hands-on experience in various technology domains. Positions in previous roles at companies like Taoglas and Intel revolved around antenna systems and design, semiconductor process and fabrication, and radio frequency and telecommunications.
